I worked with a trainer (Sherry) from Schrink Personal Training for 6 months. During that time I lost 60 pounds, dropping from 283 lbs down to 223. My body fat percentage decreased by 10%, and my BMI also went down 10%. I learned how and when to properly exercise, and how and when to properly eat. With Sherry's help I learned to monitor my diet and ensure I was eating the right foods at the right time in the right amounts. I started walking/jogging, and at first I couldn't run 100 feet without becoming breathless. Since then I have completed a 5K, an 8K and a 10K, and will be participating in longer distances in the future.

Ryan and his team helped me take control of my life, which I would not have thought possible. With the weight loss and fitness improvements I have been able to discontinue all cholesterol and blood pressure medications, and have gone from being pre-diabetic to a normal healthy range. I have more energy than ever before, and a much more positive outlook on life. It was (and is) a lot of hard work and Sherry was very encouraging every step of the way.

The pictures tell the story. I was too ashamed at first to let my face show, but now I am proud. Thanks to Ryan and Sherry I feel like I am, and continue to be, a new person.
